Who are we?
We are a small goat cheese farm.
Our goats are the heart of our company. For two key reasons: first, their milk provides eight people with a job, and second, my father started this project more than 50 years ago.
If there's one thing we're clear about, it's that our goat cheeses are the result of caring for goats as a highly valued asset.
HONESTLY NATURAL, TRADITIONAL AND ARTISANAL.
At Campo Spain, we are artisans by conviction, by principle, just like our grandparents, we make cheeses and dairy products using traditional recipes and processes.
As Grandma Fulgencia would say: Craftsmanship and passion are the only ingredients that can be added.
We take care of every single detail of the process, from the moment we milk our goats each day until the cheese reaches your table . And we know that putting care, dedication, and passion into what we do results in a quality, unique, healthy, and gourmet product.
OUR GOATS ARE HAPPY
Our goats are a fundamental pillar of our family and we treat them almost like queens so that they are happy and continue to give us their best milk:
- All of them are in enclosures that have capacity for three times as many goats, but we know that by leaving only half that number, they have more space, less rivalry, and therefore, live more relaxed lives.
- They listen to music, and their favorite is classical. If you've ever been around a goat, you'll know they're extremely skittish and easily stressed. On windy or noisy days, they all enjoy music to mask any potential noises coming from the facility, keeping them relaxed and undisturbed.
- All our goats eat wild goats . We are located in the Sierra de la Muela, Cabo Tiñoso and Roldan.
privileged environment 8 km from the Mediterranean Sea, where our goats graze every day eating albaidas (they love it), rosemary, thyme, etc.
- Because our climate is warm, we feed them with top-quality alfalfa, hay, and grains.
If our goats have the best, they will give us the best.
